Q. Do activists for illegals want to restrict freedom of speech & start arresting people who violate their guidelines for what is acceptable speech and what is not ? Will they be pressuring Obama to start arresting people and jail them ?

A. Yes, isn't it funny how they want to arrest us for speaking our minds and defending our country, but do not want the real criminal illegals arrested. Shows how low their tactics and morality is.

What laws protect the rights of citizens being attacked by PETA activists?
Q. Im not sure if this is the right section to post this...so spare the lecture. Are PETA animals rights activists being incarcerated for throwing sacks of flour on people that could injure someones eyesight or for destroying anothers expensive personal property with paint? Are they being held financially liable? Im not judging their cause..they're entitled to protest but its the violent acts that I find appalling. Most of the activists I see on Tv, seem to run off after they commit the crime.

A. There are a number of different statutes, depending on the state and city. The biggest problem is that it's usually a hit and run tactic. After throwing blood on someone they don't wait around to be arrested. If they are caught, and nobody was actually hurt, they're usually charged with misdemeanor assult, criminal mischief, vandalism, or whatever else the arresting officers decide to charge them with. Incarceration is very rare, unless the person has a long track record of doing this kind of stuff. If somebody IS hurt, however, then felony assult becomes a possible charge. PETA has legal defense funds, and if a member is charged doing something in the name of the group then they'll usually foot the bill to get it plead down to a… [cont.]

Do animal rights activists and vegans tend to be pro-life?
Q. I support animal rights, and I'm also against abortion, especially partial birth abortion. In cases of rape and/or incest, a D&C can be done immediately afterwards. The pain and suffering inflicted onto helpless animals must stop, and the painful deaths inflicted onto human fetuses also must stop. Few can deny that many human fetuses feel pain when their skulls are punctured in preparation for the suction instrument that removes their brains. Do most animal rights activists and vegans tend to be pro-life? It would definitely make logical sense.

Q. How many of these activists who keep saying all you need is love flash a peace sign would spend 2 weeks at the Mexico border where the rancher was attacked and killed. They claim there is no problem there and how many are willing to spend 2 weeks there with no law enforcement, no border patrol and no cell phones and show us how willing they are to sign up and to back up what they claim ? How many would last just a few hours ? Donna just answer the question will you spend 2 weeks there or not ?

A. No, because they would get an eye full that they don't want to admit that is happening. People putting their children thru what they do, shoving them into vehicles like their luggage, the dirt and garbage, the tents etc... lying around, what a pretty site. The animals that are destroyed because of these illegals and their journeys. It is no way any one could look at this and feel anything but disgust for those who come illegally.

A. Both groups work within their own specifics when it comes to 'animals'. Animal rights people have worked to reduce suffering of domestic animals and we've seen a strong movement toward far more humane treatment of laboratory animals. Nobody can say that hasn't been all to the good. Of course sometimes these folks step outside their natural boundaries and attempt to impinge on hunting and fishing...not so good. On the plus side they have reduce the hunting of whales to a minimum and have worked very hard to protect many of the world's endangered species. Animal rights activists: would you choose the lives of 100 endangered animals over your own child?
Q. I'd like to know why you animal rights activists insist on making animals out to be the equivalents. I'm not saying all of you do this, but the more radical among you do. I firmly believe that as the dominant species we have an obligation and responsibility to protect, preserve, and respect our fellow living beings. But an entire lesser species would never equate to a single human life. So... really, which would you choose: the lives of 100 animals or that of your own child's?

A. Of course they wouldn't...most of them are searching for a way to justify their own existence, so they take up a cause and become passionate about it...animal testing is 'terrible', but I've never heard one animal rights activist complain when the doctor knew the correct medication to give them or a family member as a result of animal testing...common sense, protect species if you can, but don't be loopy about it

Why do Black Activists only care if White Person kills a Black person, but not Black on Black murder?

A. Because they cannot blame whitey for it. As the other person said - they care more about being anti-white then they do about their own people - as evidenced by their continual race-baiting instead of healing within and making sure systemic changes take place in their culture to eliminate the glorification of being "thug"

Why do so many supposed anti-animal testing activists only mention cosmetics?
Q. I thought there was also a similarly promient movement against medical animal testing. There's been a lot of praise for cell culture/in vitro tests. It seems like an important issue that a lot of supposed anti-animal testing activists just gloss over.
Asked by Jed - Sat Apr 10 23:19:12 2010 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments
A. I think it's just because it's easier. It's simpler to explain to most people that beauty products (which aren't necessary in the first place) shouldn't cause extreme suffering to animals. Medical research is a good thing, so to dissuade people from endorsing medical animal testing you'd need to launch into a big discussion of how there are other methods that are as just as beneficial or even more so. Yes, it's an important issue but probably not the most useful point to start with in a discussion of animal testing with a person who hasn't given it much thought before.

I don't necesarily agree with pounds, but at least they're being fed, and they're safe there. If the dog has an owner, then the pound can contact them. Is there any blog for the NGO activists?
Q. I personally experienced many cases of unethical activities of NGO authorities and patrons ( like monitory manipulation ,exploitation of the stake-holders as well as activists etc.).is there any solidarity space where I can share my experiences .any body would like to...?

A. If you want to start a blog, then start one. There are many free blog services out there -- a search on Google will find you several. You will need to include names of the NGOs you think are engaged in unethical activities, what you yourself have actually witnessed (not just something you've heard about, but something you can prove), dates of each unethical activity you have witnessed or that you can prove, your full name (it would be unethical on your part not to be transparent about who you are), and a place for these organizations to respond to your accusations.

animal right activists make it hard for companies in Ireland to advertise positions. How do I find these jobs?
Q. I am a Research Associate in In-Vivo Pharmacology in the US, I will be moving to Ireland at the end of the year and have been looking for related job on the internet for some time. I've recently been advised that many companies there don't advertise for specific animal handling jobs in my field because of the problem with animal right avtivists. I'm wondering how I can best find jobs related to my field without actually having to send a CV to each and every one of them? Appreciate any tips or suggestions on this. Thanks!

Why isn't Israeli TV showing videos of the 9 pro-Palestinian activists being murdered?
Q. According to CNN, in Israel the public is shocked by a video repeatedly being shown on TV apparently taken of a group of activists attacking an Israeli commando with sticks after he descended to their ship from a military chopper. This video is being aired repeatedly. I was just wondering if anyone can tell me why Israel won't (or wouldn't) show the public a video of an Israeli commando shooting dead one of the nine activists who were murdered.

A. It's Propaganda to show the soldiers being beaten on. It feeds the fires for Israels expansion.
