Why are so many people offended by "pro-abortion"?
Q. Pro-abortion does not mean that you like abortion or would encourage it; it just means you think people should have the right to have an abortion, just like pro-gambling or pro-gun. "Pro-choice" is a euphemism. Pro-abortions does NOT mean you think everyone should have an abortion or that everyone can gamble just like pro-gun doesn't mean you think everyone should have a gun or pro-gambling means you want to force people to gamble. "Pro-choice" is a euphemism because it is overly broad and could be applied to pretty much anything. Yet you don't see "pro-choice" groups protesting company mergers (choice of product) or traffic laws (choice of how to drive). Those who describe themselves as "pro-choice" only are talking ablout abortion,… [cont.]

A. If somebody is pro-choice, they are pro the choice to have an abortion, therefore they are pro-abortion. Pro means support of. People that are pro-choice support the right to have an abortion. People take offense because they know abortion should not be done, at least only in the most extreme of cases, and causes guilt.

Do you believe that the religious right is destroying the Constitution?
Q. Text of the letter to the religious right leaders for years, you've attacked the freedom of women to control their own bodies, waged war on gay marriage, and fought to erode one of the most central tenets of our Constitution: the separation between church and state. You've always claimed the moral high ground, asserting the right to tell people how to live and condemning millions of Americans for actions you deemed immoral. But your high ground is washed away. After years of condemning gambling as a social ill, you're caught knee-deep in pro-gambling campaigns hatched by indicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff. It's time to stop telling others how to act, and start practicing what you preach. End your hypocrisy. Full text here: See this site: [cont.]

A. Big time ! There are sooo many intrusions of religious agendas that dictates te lawmakers that even the religious supporters will soon witness with their own eyes the side effect of their medicine. Lobby groups who deal with issues that have no burden on their faith rather than taking care of real issues such as real honest education, health care, and supporting the needed with intelligent non interested honest attention and concrete actions. Insteand of giving a Christmas basket to the needy and turn around to support lawmakers that allow guns, death penalty (and against abortion) and the likes and getting more prison constructed, they should be pressuring their representative to be more cohesive and push for health care, for support… [cont.]
