How do I start a racing league?
Q. I am very interested in alternative energy. I also love racing. So naturally I am interested in joining the two together. What do I need to know/ do to start an electric racing league? I was thinking of starting an electric go kart league but not sure of how much of a following I would get from that. Regardless of what I chose though, starting a league is basically the same. However there is not much info on line about starting a new racing league. Any help on where to look and what to think about would be great. Thanks.

A. lots of ways you could go about this - you could develop your own prototype, then build your own vehicles and lease them out to teams or run the series as arrive and drive where the drivers just show up and pay to race. Or, you could develop a set or rules and allow participants to build their own vehicles. Since you mentioned karts, a good place to start might be popular karting websites, to guage interest:
