Nounactivists
From Wiktionary under the GNU Free Documentation License. Activism consists of intentional action to bring about social, political, economic, or environmental change. This action is in support of, or opposition to, one side of an often controversial argument. The word "activism" is used synonymously with protest or dissent, but activism can stem from any number of political orientations and take a wide range of forms from writing letters to newspapers or politicians, political campaigning, economic activism such as boycotts or preferentially patronizing businesses, rallies, street marches, strikes, both work stoppages and hunger strikes, or even guerrilla tactics. In some cases, activism has nothing to do with protest or confrontation. Some religious or vegetarian/vegan activists try to persuade people to change their behavior directly, rather than persuade governments to change laws. The cooperative movement seeks to build new institutions which conform to cooperative principles, and generally does not lobby or protest politically. GNU Free Documentation License If you heard animal activists raided a mink ranch what would you say? Q. These activists raided a ranch and in the process animals were killed. I need to write 2 essays on this. 1 for the activists and 1 against. I need more reasons why they shouldn't have done the raid and why they shouldn't feel so strongly in protecting animals.. even though they are not necessarily being hurt. like milking a cow for instance. American Patriots like Thurgood Marshall and Earl Warren, are smeared by some Republicans as Socialist communists Left Wingers. Any Civil Rights associated work is deemed Liberal treachery. Our founding fathers were community organizers and Activists in their day...do they also revile them? Has the party of Lincoln lost most of the values it once stood for? Q. Why do many activists for illegals proclaim America did not have the right to take action after the 9-11 attacks ? Why are many activists for illegals now saying America must first read aloud to enemy terrorists their rights before the troops can take action in a war zone where shootings occur and roadside bombs go off and even if this puts the troops in danger , we must first make sure all enemy terrorists understand what their rights are or else the troops can face charges for war crimes ?
