Household organization or just organization tips in general for any moms of multiples?
Q. I'm just looking for some household organization or organization tips in general for dealing with multiple births. Meals, bed time, shopping, play time, household organization. Really just anything that you think might be helpful. Please no rude answers, thank you.

A. What the Duggars on 18 (now 19 kids) and Counting. Jim Bob said that in the beginning, Michelle wasn't so organized but having more kids forced her to learn organizational skills. She sought advice from other parents of large families. One thing I've read about having multiples is to keep charts. Each child's chart is named and color coded. It will help to keep track of the number of times each child is fed, had a wet diaper and a dirty diaper. You might want to look up books that talk about caring for multiples. Best of luck.

How do you get charitable organizations or companies to sponsor a non-profit organization?
Q. Our organization is about preserving the quality of education of our high school. We're doing this by trying to convince people to agree with parcel taxing (a mandatory tax in order to go to school), which will be on our city's ballot in several months. We are completely student-based. Also, any suggestions on how to help our organization would be very helpful!

A. What you propose is illegal and unconstitutional. Public school is free and a right.

What are the different positions for a nonprofit organization?
Q. I'm 15 and I'm starting a non-profit organization. I would be the director of the organization, and I have a friend to be in charge of marketing and another friend to be in charge of the finances. I was wondering what other positions would need to be filled in order for this organization to be a success. Ps. The organization is run by teens for teens and we plan on doing a different fund raising event each month for a different cause.

A. I think it is a great idea to do fundraising for other non-profits, but it might not really be worth the effort to register as an organization yourselves. Especially since you are all teens. I am assuming (hoping) the three of you are planning to volunteer and not get paid? If that is the case, why not start with just doing the fundraisers first. For example, start with an American Heart Association HeartWalk or Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. They have lots of tips on their websites for how to organize a team. Filing as a non-profit is a huge lot of work that just may not be necessary right now. And neither really are titles or positions, although you can still have those. Maybe talk to someone at your school about making it an… [cont.]

What organization, if any, gives away cheap or free used cars to low income people who need them?
Q. I am unemployed and have been seeking work; however have been unable to find work, and had to drop out of college. I finally found a job, but can't get to work. Does anyone know of a church or organization in general who gives away or sells cheap cars for the needy/poor? Or sells cars to the disabled? Thank you for your help.

A. Your best option is post an ad on craigslist and explain your situation and ask for a little local support I have seen a few and I have actually sent canned food and diapers to one woman. When children are innvolved it takes a village to raise a child. I have included a decent one I seen on craigslist recently. It's worth a shot.

I work for a tightly knit university organization. How can I start an alumni association? What should it do?
Q. This university organization has extremely committed students, and connection with alumni would be easy. With just a directory, how do I start an alumni organization from scratch? What would be the benefits of an organization, other than the opportunity to network for career reasons?

A. The benefits of an alumni network can be for career, but they can be social as well. Also, if the group was close, they might have a common interest in improving their old college or helping the students who are in the college group now. I would start by mailing out a survey to the people from the directory to gauge how interested people would be in an alumni group. Some thing to ask include: 1) Would you be inerested in attending social events? How often (once a week/once a month/etc). What types of social events would you like to attend (movies/classes/volunteer or service events/ wine and cheese parties) 2) Would you be interested in paying yearly dues to belong to an alumni organization to off-set operating costs and event… [cont.]

A. Habitat for Humanity is an awesome program, most social funding is limited because they only help 1 family at a time, They rely on volunteers and will always ask you to do more, the downfall is if your not 18, you cant help build, but there is so many ways to help, fund raising, public awareness, etc. to see the family's face, and tears, it makes it all worth it!!!

A. Starting a non-profit organization can be quite complex. It may be worthwhile for you to spend a few years working with other organizations that have similar goals. Consider volunteering for groups like WWF, Sierra Club, GreenPeace, or the Save the Tigers Fund. You can meet like-minded people, learn how organizations operate, learn about fundraising, management, publicity, and identifying the most cost-effective ways to meet your group's goals.

A. My third answer for you. Take a book, for example. Specific to general would be something like. Reference to the specific appearance of the book: its color, dimensions, number of pages. Then more generally: this book is about the Battle of Gettysburg. Then perhaps a general statement about books: Books are ready by many people who seek a greater understanding of history.
