Venting is the debut album and sole studio album by the post-grunge/hard rock music group Five.Bolt.Main. It was released on September 13, 2005 via Rock Ridge Music. Three singles were released from the album: "Pathetic" (2005), "The Gift" (2006), and "Seem to Be Fine" (2006). Venting sold roughly around 20,000 copies which could be considered good due to the lack of promotion the album saw or a moderate disappointment due to what was originally expected. Track listing

Ridge vent is relatively easy and VERY effective. Remove the ridge caps and install the vent, stopping at the wall line. Install ridge caps over the vent and you are finished. They work in conjunction with the soffit vents to keep air circulating through the attic. How difficult this job is depends on the pitch of your roof. If you are comfortable up there, and have your caps precut, this is a day job. Hope this helps. So long as you use rigid straight pipe and elbows (found at any Lowe's or Home Depot) for the large majority of the length, you will be fine. Flex pipe will cause multiple issues regarding the collection of Mold and Mildew, to the SEVERE reduction in air flow capacity. So use as minimal amount of flex pipe as you can. Seal EVERY connection well. Strapping is very inexpensive and can be used to suppot, from the rafters, anything you install. Additionally, make sure that you maintain at least a level (preferably rising) angle for the exhaust to work well. A down angle, anywhere, will prohibit the airs natural capacity to rise.
